Terms and Conditions
Use of BGS Card You agree that the BGS Card is the property of Brisbane Grammar School. Use of your BGS Card is subject to all specified terms, conditions, rules and regulations. Your card and related accounts are non-transferable; any misuse or illegal transactions can result in privilege suspension. Except as provided below, you are responsible for the usage of your BGS Card.
BGS Card Accounts The BGS Card may hold an optional account of pre-deposited funds accessed by you for products and services. Funds cannot be withdrawn from the BGS Card at any time, except for withdrawal or graduation from Brisbane Grammar School. Funds deposited to the BGS Card shall be applied against amounts debited to your BGS Card for goods and services purchased at points of sale. You understand and agree that the BGS Card is not a credit card, nor can it be used to obtain cash or cash advances from the account under any circumstances. If your BGS Card balance goes below zero as a result of the system or one of its readers being off-line, you remain responsible for payment of those purchases.
Procedures for Lost, Stolen, or Replacement Cards Any lost or stolen card, or unauthorised usage, should be reported immediately to BGS Card Account during the business hours of 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. Alternatively, you may suspend activity to your BGS Card through MyGrammar. You are responsible for all usage of the card prior to proper notification to Brisbane Grammar School or suspending your card online. There is a replacement fee for a lost, stolen or damaged card.
Closing Accounts, Refunds, Returns Upon graduation or official withdrawal from the School, the cardholder accounts will be closed and any balance over $10.00 can be refunded to you. All debts on your BGS Card must be satisfied prior to a refund being issued. Refund requests of balances over $10 will be made at the full value of the unused balance. Balances under $10 will be treated as a donation to the BGS P&F Auxiliary and will be included in the Auxiliary's next donation to a major School project. Merchandise will be accepted for return according to the refund policy in force where the goods and/or services were purchased. Refer to MyGrammar for the current Refund Policies. Cash refunds will not be made for returned merchandise that was purchased with the BGS Card. Instead, a credit will be placed on your account.
Documentation of Activity You can request a receipt at the time of purchase if the point of sale terminal is equipped to provide a receipt. Some locations including copiers, printing stations and Tuckshop tills are not capable of providing receipts. The remaining balance on your BGS Card is displayed at every point of sale terminal each time the account is accessed. The cashier, at any location accepting the BGS Card, may be asked to verify an account balance. Occasionally the account balance is not available at a card reader. During these times, you can check your BGS Card balances online through MyGrammar.
Error Resolution Procedures If you believe a charge has been transacted on your BGS Card which you did not authorise, you must notify the BGS P&F Auxiliary as soon as the non-authorised transaction is discovered. Include information on the date and amount of the transaction, as well as any other information you feel is necessary to help the staff investigate the claim.
